Marriage Preparation Courses

This Marriage Preparation Programme, which is offered by the Catholic Church, accept as normative the teachings of Jesus Christ on Marriage, and see the state of Matrimony as a life-long bond between a man and a woman intended by God to support them in their love for each other and in their love for children of their union.
Genesis 1: 27-28

The first part of the programme is Commit, a communication assessment inventory taking place over two evenings.
The aim of Commit is to explore strength and growth areas in the couple’s relationship.

Following Commit is a Marriage Preparation Course, which covers topics that are essential for building a successful marriage. These courses are normally held on one night a week for six weeks or over two consecutive Saturdays.
